Crossley Street Surgery is a six-partner, semi-rural practice, set in the attractive market town of Wetherby. The practice serves almost 12,000 patients from modern purpose-built premises with all the usual facilities for contemporary General Practice. There is a comprehensive Primary Health Care Team and also many other added facilities, both NHS and private. The practice is a local provider for joint injections. Private on-site facilities include Physiotherapy. These are all in addition to the regular disease management clinics.

The practice operates under a Personal Medical Services contract with NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group.

The practice is fully computerised and paperlight accredited.

COVID-19 Spring Booster Vaccination

The NHS COVID vaccination programme has begun inviting eligible people to come forward for their life-saving Spring booster jabs.

People aged 75 and over and those who are immunosuppressed will be able to book through the national booking service when it is their turn. It can be accessed online at or by calling 119.

We will also be holding vaccination clinics at Wetherby Health Centre, Hallfield Lane, LS22 6JS. These clinics will be walk-in, and no pre-booked appointments will be required. Please do not contact the surgery to book into the clinics being held at Wetherby Health Centre, as there are no appointments for these clinics, you can simply turn up and queue for your vaccine.

The clinics will be held on a Saturday starting from the 16th April for 11 weeks; full dates and times of the clinics can be found below.

These clinics will be for eligible patients in other Wetherby Practices and as such on the day capacity will be limited. We will also be restricted by the number of vaccines delivered to us. Please take this into consideration when attending the clinic. The vaccinations will be given on a first come first served basis; once the vaccinations have been given, the clinic will close until the following week.

Clinic dates are below; all clinics will start at 8:30am and run until 2pm or until all the vaccinations have been used. We will endeavour to keep patients informed on any updates via social media.

  • Saturday 28th May
  • Saturday 4th June
  • Saturday 11th June
  • Saturday 18th June
  • Saturday 25th June

If you are unable to attend on a Saturday, please go online or call 119 to book into one of the large vaccination centres.
