🌬️ Can you help us improve asthma care at Crossley Street Surgery? 💙

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is working with the practice to raise £2,500 to help us purchase our own FeNO machine — an important piece of equipment used when assessing patients for asthma.

🌿 What is a FeNO machine?

FeNO testing measures inflammation in the airways and can help our clinical team assess whether someone may have asthma, alongside other tests and symptoms.

At the moment, we share a FeNO machine with other local practices. Having our own would mean our team has greater access to this equipment when it is needed, helping us provide timely and effective asthma assessments for our patients.

💨 Asthma affects many people and can have a significant impact on everyday life. Symptoms such as breathlessness, wheezing, coughing and chest tightness can be frightening — and good diagnosis and treatment are important in helping people manage their condition.

💙 We need your help to reach our £2,500 target.

Every donation, however small, will bring us closer to having our own dedicated FeNO machine and improving the care we can provide to patients with asthma.

If we are lucky enough to raise more than our target, additional funds will be used towards enhancements for the FeNO machine and other equipment to support asthma care at the surgery.
