HAVE YOU PARKED CORRECTLY? PARKING FINES IN PLACE

Car Park PrintFrom the 1st December 2023, NPC company warden patrols will be monitoring the surgery car park to identify vehicles parked in marked ‘no go’ areas, such as spaces reserved for doctors and staff, double yellow lines, abuse of disabled bays, and most importantly the area to the side of the building marked with yellow hatches, specifically required for ambulance parking. Once operational there will be signs warning drivers. Fines can and will be charged for non-compliance. This is unfortunately a necessary measure, as despite repeated requests to keep certain spaces clear and the expense of having the car park relined, cars continue to be parked inappropriately and this is putting patients at risk, as well as increasing the risk of damage to cars.

Please can we ask patients to only park in the patient section of the car park, which is the back half. Only patients with a disabled parking badge should park in the disabled bays.

You are at risk of receiving a fine if you park:

  • In the staff section and are not staff
  • In the disabled bays without a disabled parking badge
  • On the yellow hatches
  • On the double yellow lines

Please note that the parking fines will be issued by NPC, and any issues or queries need to be directed to them. Contact details can be found on the signs in the car park.

Crossley Street Surgery will not be making any profit from this initiative. All proceeds will be donated to local charities, beginning with WiSE (Wetherby in Support of the Elderly)

Thank you for your cooperation in making the car park safe for everyone.
