Dr Mate is the senior partner.
He qualified from
Manchester University in 1977. Having joined the
practice in 1981, he is our longest-serving GP
and is the only one to remember our old
premises. His main medical interest is in asthma
and minor surgery. |

Dr Richard Hall MBChB, MRCGP |

Dr Hall
qualified from Leeds in 1985.
He was the next to join the practice,
in 1990, when our current premises were
being built. He has a special interest
in diabetes and also performs minor
surgery. He is a GP trainer, monitoring
the progress and education of our GP
registrar. |

Dr Sylvia Dillon MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG |

Dr Dillon qualified from Leeds in 1987.
Her main
interests are women's health and ophthalmology. She also performs minor surgery. |

Dr Ellis P. Rickwood MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG

Dr
Rickwood qualified from Leeds in 1990.
His specialism
is musculo-skeletal / sports medicine. He
performs minor surgery and has a particular
interest in joint injections. |

Dr Maria Frith MBBS, MRCGP, MRCP |

Dr Frith qualified from Newcastle in 1987.
Joining the
practice in 1997, she has previously worked as a
GP in Newcastle, and prior to that had worked
for several years in hospital medicine. She has
a special interest in general medicine and
prescribing. |

Dr Sarah Fraser MBChB |

Dr Fraser
qualified from Bristol in 1990.
She currently
works as our retainer, working two mornings a
week. |

Dr Sarah Oakes MBChB |
 |
Dr Oakes is one of our two salaried GPs.
She
qualified from Liverpool in 1998 and joined the
practice in 2004, having previously been here
for six months during her GP training. |

McCready is the second of our two salaried GPs.
She
qualified from Leicester in 1999 and joined the
practice at the beginning of 2006. |
